The Eco-Fair has been organized to assist in the understanding of environmental affairs and issues, sustainable practices, and the products and services that support those practices and issues.
Kevin & Claire will be hosting a table at Intel's campus in Beaverton in which they will speak with Intel employees regarding solar energy use in the state of Oregon. Unfortunately, no volunteers are needed for this event.
This is an occasion to meet and socialize with other community members, industry members and Solar Oregon members who support solar energy.
A variety of energy efficiency projects are slated for installation in Enterprise and Joseph with the support of the Oregon Department of Energy’s State Energy Program. “Wallowa County is in the lead by a large degree in the renewable energy field,” said Louis Perry of LD Perry Inc. of Joseph. Joseph and Enterprise high schools and the Joseph Fire Department received three of the six solar project grants awarded by the state.
Learn how you go solar at home with Solarize Pendleton. Attend one of the introductory workshops and learn the benefits of buying in bulk with you neighbors, how to participate, and an introduction to solar. This workshop will focus on net metering.
