Passport to Empowerment (The Colony 7525 N RICHMOND AVE (ST. Guests will not only raise funds for renewable energy and water projects in remote third world villages but sample food and cocktails from each country, and form connections with new cultures and friends.
Taking the Greener Road (Kell's Irish Pub 112 Southwest 2nd Avenue Portland, OR 97204, from Jun 05, 2013 03:00 PM to Jun 05, 2013 05:00 PM): This event will feature a presentation by Max Baumhefner, Sustainable Energy Fellow at the Natural Resources Defense Council. Mr. Baumhefner will dive into the most recent data on the environmental impact of electric vehicles and examine the unique opportunities to integrate more renewable energy into the electrical grid made possible by electric vehicles. He will also discuss a recently published Electricity Journal article he co-authored that examines the relationship between consumer interest, electric vehicles, and clean energy.
