Central Oregon Green & Solar Homes Tour

The High Desert Branch of the Cascadia Green Building Council is excited to present another awesome event this year.  This leading sustainable home tour will continue to showcase the premiere sustainable homes, featuring the most innovative technologies utilized in Central Oregon.  Techniques include renewable energies, new and reclaimed building materials, low energy consumption and water conservation technologies.

The tour begins with a kick-off event held at COCC's new Campus Center building, Willie Hall, on Saturday, October 6th where tour participants will have the opportunity to hear inspirational speakers and see displays by innovative companies in our region. Once again, the tour is a free public event.  We are proud to feature a bicycle route in support of carbon neutrality.

Call for volunteers to assist with the Tour!  Participate in the 12^th year of this Tour.  We will need assistance before the Tour and on the day of the Tour. We will need volunteers to put up flyers, make announcements about the Tour at meetings they attend, set up the kick-off at COCC, greet visitors at the homes and more. Learn more by attending a meeting or contacting us. Contact highdesert@cascadiagbc.org and express your interest.
