Oregon Solar Energy Industries Association is providing professional training across the state for journeymen electricians, installers, and others who wish to improve their knowledge of PV systems in Oregon.


Who should attend?
The course is intended for journeyman electricians, signing supervisor electricians, limited renewable energy technicians, solar installers, building officials, engineers and designers.

What you can expect:
Participants will acquire knowledge of the NEC and Oregon Specialty Code requirements as they pertain to PV installations; learn about uniform PV system permitting and inspection processes; and be instructed on proper installation and design techniques.

Participants will also receive a copy of Mike Holt’s Understanding NEC Requirements for Solar Photovoltaic Systems. This course qualifies for 8 hrs of CEUs.

Knowledge of NEC 2011 and solar electricity.

Full day - $150
Half day - $100
