Net zero energy use is possible!
What exactly is Goal Net Zero?
Simply put, if your home, office, apartment complex or any other building
you own consumes less energy than it produces annually, you are net
zero.
It’s not just
renewable energy systems
that help you achieve a net zero building. Green building techniques
are an integral part of the process. Insulation values, daylighting,
low air infiltration rates, reducing thermal bridging and a dedication
to conserving
the energy you’ve produced on a day-to-day basis are all examples
that contribute to being net zero.
There is something for everyone at this year’s Goal Net Zero Tour.
