Attention homeowners! Have you been waiting for the right time to ‘go solar?’  Interested in saving money while saving energy? What about supporting your local community while installing a solar thermal system for a fraction of the price? Here at Oregon Rural Action our members have been rolling out Solarize Union County! Solarize is a community-wide bulk purchase campaign that provides a simple and affordable solution for homeowners to install solar panels on their homes.

Solarize Union County

has officially secured the partnership of Union Wallowa Baker Federal Credit Union, who will be matching the funds given by the county and administering all the loans for our program.

Intro workshops • get started!

Learn how to get solar thermal at home with Solarize Union County. Attend one of our introductory workshops and we’ll explain the benefits of buying in bulk with our neighbors, describe how to participate, and provide you with an introduction to the Solarize program. Workshops for solar and weatherization are free and open to anyone interested in participating in this community-based project.
