The Oregon Solar Energy Industries Association is a trade association that promotes clean, renewable, solar technologies. They are offering a 8 hour Code Change Course focusing on PV Systems and the 2014 NEC
 
Continuing Education Credits:
Oregon BCD: 8 hours of Code Change CEUs 
WASHINGTON: 6 hours Industry Related CEUs with Dept. of Labor and Industry  
NABCEP: 6hrs NEC + 2hrs Technical OR 2hrs Non-Technical/Other
 
Course Description:
The PV Systems course will provide participants with knowledge of the NEC requirements to ensure consistent and uniform installation and inspection methods for Photovoltaic (PV) systems. The course will be focused on the changes to the 2014 National Electrical Code that affect PV system installations. The course is intended for code electrical contractors, solar installers, building officials, engineers and designers and to better understand code requirements for PV systems.

This course includes up to 8 hours of CEUs for journeymen electricians, signing supervisor electricians, solar installers, LRTs, building officials, engineers and designers.

Registration:
Full Day (8 hrs. CEUs) - $135 for OSEIA Members / $175 for non-members
Half Day (4 hrs. CEUs) - $80 for OSEIA Members / $125 for non-members
