Solarize Southern Oregon

Solarize Southern Oregon is a non-profit, community effort helping people go solar. Solarize Southern Oregon is hosting workshops providing people the opportunity to learn the basics of solar and how to join with other community members in a volume purchase of solar energy systems to save money, take advantage of incentives & tax credits, and feel good about contributing to the local economy & helping the environment.  This community effort will expand the use of solar energy and increase local solar jobs in southern Oregon.  Program solar contractors will be available for the installation of residential and small commercial solar projects for customers of all utilities.

This effort is presented by the Southern Oregon Clean Energy Alliance, Association of Oregon Counties, Oregon Solutions, Solar Oregon and Resource Consultants in Douglas, Lane, Coos, Curry, Klamath and Lane counties. Funding is provided in part by a USDA Rural Business Opportunity grant and a City of Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability grant.
