SolWest Renewable Energy & Sustainability Fair June 27-29

Learn and thrive with 50 workshops, camping, exciting bands, exhibitors, local food and beer, and kids programs about renewable energy and sustainability. Oregon Rural Action is excited to offer solar, small wind, small hydro and geothermal, ham radio, and emergency preparedness! SolWest Fair will have sustainable and green living classes in gardening, cooking with organic meats, helping bees, making lacto-fermented food, living off-grid, and reducing your carbon footprint. Cylvia Hayes, Oregon’s First Lady, founder and CEO of 3EStrategies, a clean economy consulting firm, and author, is 2014 SolWest Fair’s keynote speaker. 4 talented bands providing musical entertainment will be paired with regional beer and wine. Red Hot and Blue jazz, Bitterroot, Homemade Jam, and Bag of Hammers will entertain fairgoers!  More information can be found at www.solwest.org.

COST: Adults - $5.00 Daily; $10 for the weekend

          Juniors (13-17) - $2.00 Daily; $4 for the weekend (free for children 12 and under)

          Family - $10.00 Daily; $20 for the weekend
