Taking the Greener Road

This event will feature a presentation by Max Baumhefner, Sustainable Energy Fellow at the Natural Resources Defense Council. Mr. Baumhefner will dive into the most recent data on the environmental impact of electric vehicles and examine the unique opportunities to integrate more renewable energy into the electrical grid made possible by electric vehicles. He will also discuss a recently published Electricity Journal article he co-authored that examines the relationship between consumer interest, electric vehicles, and clean energy.

Speaker Bio:

Max Baumhefner is an attorney and Sustainable Energy Fellow in the San Francisco office of the Natural Resources Defense Council. He is a member of the vehicles and fuels team within NRDC’s Energy and Transportation program. His work focuses on the juncture of the electricity and transportation sectors. He is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley School of Law at Boalt Hall.  He writes about his work on the NRDC Switchboard blog.
