Did you know that Wilsonville Library may be going solar?

Well, if you ever thought about going solar yourself, you may want to join the free workshop being offered this month in Wilsonville. Solar Oregon, a Portland-based non-profit, partners with Oregon Institute of Technology students for the Basics of Going Solar workshop at the Wilsonville Library on Saturday, March 8, from 1-2:30 pm.

The workshop will cover how solar works in Oregon’s climate, available technologies, purchase and leasing options, as well as incentives and tax credits. During the workshop, the Tech OWLs will interweave stories regarding Wilsonville Library’s own path in installing solar.
