The small premium you pay helps to fund the development of new renewable energy resources in Oregon, including large wind farms, and also some solar electric systems.

Choose only one of Pacific Power's three renewable power options:

Blue Sky Usage Option

Choose 100% renewable energy equal to your monthly usage from wind, biomass and solar projects located primarily in the Northwest. This option costs .78 cents per kilowatt hour more than Basic Service which equals about 10% extra on your monthly bill.

Blue Sky Habitat Option

This option works just like Blue Sky Usage, except you also pay an additional $2.50 per month that goes to The Nature Conservancy for local salmon habitat restoration, which is tax deductible.

Blue Sky Block Option

You can purchase a portion of your energy buy buying 100 kWh increments or “blocks” of wind power. You can buy as many blocks as you like. Each block costs $1.95 in addition to your Basic Service charge.
