Volunteers are central to our outreach and education throughout the state of Oregon. Thank you to the many volunteers that support our work!

  • Help out at Events - There are many events throughout Oregon which you can volunteer to help. Basic knowledge of solar is desired but not a necessity to get started. (Click here to learn more about expanding your solar knowledge). Ideally, you should attend one of our volunteer "Meet and Greets". Times and dates of these Meet and Greets will be emailed to those individuals which have completed our online application.

  • Other Projects - Volunteers often lend us their professional expertise in many areas, including graphic design, event management, research projects, and artistic endeavors to name a few. It is our goal to match volunteers with projects that will provide you a learning experience and help advance the use of solar in Oregon.

  • Solar Volunteer Portfolio - Your volunteer service with Solar Oregon has purpose and value. That’s why we have designed a volunteer system which will assist you in building a Solar Volunteer Portfolio with Solar Oregon. Your portfolio will contain a history of your volunteer work (hours served, goals, accomplishments and related information) which you can present to employers or others as you see fit. Click here to begin building your Solar Volunteer Portfolio with Solar Oregon and know your service has benefit. Click here to log service into your existing Solar Volunteer Portfolio.
