Yes. However, there are several important facts to keep in mind:
This is electricity people! Electricity can be deadly and you shouldn’t attempt any work without proper training. Installing any type of a solar system is not a weekend DIY project for the average person. There are people who have done this successfully and there are great informational resources out there but again, this should not be attempted willy nilly.
To qualify for an Energy Trust incentive or an Oregon state tax credit, your system must be installed by an eligible contractor.
