Facts about Solar and Renewable Energy in Oregon

• In Portland the two programs combined have produced over 1,100 solar installations in the past 4 years, saving over 9.8 million kWh of electricity on an ongoing annual basis and helping the City meet our greenhouse gas reduction goals
• For every job created by the PV industry, between 1.8 and 2.8 jobs are created in other segments of the economy (source Stalix)
