Benefits of Sponsoring

PR and Marketing highlights:

1.  Magazine publicity to 30,000 individuals - Produced by 3E Strategies, Green + Solar Building Oregon magazine is the only state specific green building magazine in the US and is printed annually with year-round circulation of 30,000.   A special section dedicated to the Oregon Green and Solar Tours will be featured in the magazine and your sponsorship will be recognized in this section.  This magazine is distributed at every major green building and solar related event across the state throughout the year (including NW Solar Expo, Solwest, Better Living Show, solar tours, home shows, etc.) >>See last year's article and sponsorship recognition in Green+Solar Building Oregon magazine

2. Solar Tours - In 2008, the Oregon Green and Solar Tours will attract approximately 4,000 people in 13 communities who are interested in the latest green and solar designs and products on the market.  Each tour is unique and each community has different materials to guide their participants through the tour.  At each tour site, either an Oregon Green and Solar Tours brochure or a special section in the local tour guide devoted to the Oregon Green and Solar Tours will be available to all participants.  This brochure will recognize your sponsorship and connect participants to you through the webpage.  (See webpage benefits below).  This is an excellent way to connect to consumers focused on sustainability throughout the state. >>View last year's brochure

3. Webpage - Solar Oregon’s website is the official source for all up-to-date tour information for the Oregon Green and Solar Tours.  Your sponsorship will be recognized on the tour page with links to your website.  This webpage will stay on the Solar Oregon website for 1 year extending your event sponsorship far beyond the event itself. >>See last years Tour Page

4. Statewide and Local PR - Title Level sponsors will be recognized in statewide press releases to every major media outlet (print, radio, TV and electronic) in mid-July and August with follow up reminders in September. In 2007, we received reports of publicity in nine newspapers, seven magazines and journals, three TV stations and three radio stations. We will also market this tour at approximately 10 other sustainability events and 20 Solar Oregon workshops throughout the spring and summer.  >>See 2007 tour report and PR coverage
