As a non-profit 501© 3 organization, Solar Oregon depends on their volunteers to make our mission successful. Volunteers are central to our outreach and education throughout the state of Oregon.

If you are interested in the renewable industries or just want to get involved within the “green” movement, we have an opportunity for you! Now Seeking Volunteers for the Solar Oregon/ 4H Renewable Energy Education Program!

Bring renewable energy education to elementary and middle school classrooms. Volunteers facilitate hands-on activities like solar car racing, constructing wind turbines, testing insulation materials and more.  Classroom lessons teach the process of scientific inquiry, renewable energy and energy conservation concepts.  Interested volunteers contact emily@solaroregon.org.  Save the Date!
