Goal Net Zero (GNZ) Interest Group discussions are a great follow up for anyone that has attended a past GNZ tour or just wants to learn more about net zero concepts, design, and building science. The group has been meeting monthly. Below are upcoming meetings.
Already own a solar system? Learn how to maximize the effects of your solar system by improving energy performance of your home.
Each meeting costs $5.00 for dues paying Solar Oregon members and $10.00 for non-members. Payment can be made by cash or check at the door.

All meetings will be from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in the Basement Lecture Room of the Heritage Building, 3934 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Portland, Oregon, 97214. Click here to map location.

Speaker: Isaiah Cox, PGE Topic: For this GNZ interest group session we will look at the concept of Demand Response, and PGE’s newest program, Energy Partnersm – Automated Demand Response. We will discuss how Automated Demand Response came to fruition, how it works, and what it, and programs like it, could possibly enable in the future (in regards to Goal Net Zero). Demand Response is an innovative and effective method of engaging customers to be an active participant in our future energy solutions enabled by the Smart Grid. |
