
This free workshop series will teach you how to retrofit your existing home or what design features to incorporate into the home you are building in order to make the most of the sun's energy.
The series is broken into two classroom sessions and 2 onsite visits.

Class session 1

- a broader understanding of how space heating, water heating, lighting and appliances consume energy in your home through diagnostic tools
- knowledge of how your house uses (or gains) heat energy and what you can do to improve that

- questions to ask a contractor about your roof (when thinking about a roof top solar system)
