Energy Resilience with Solar + Storage

February 10, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Free

Solar and batteries are fueling a transformation of the energy grid, and together they can be vital a resource during a power outage. This ‘energy resilience’ is especially important in the Pacific Northwest due to our significant earthquake hazard. Luckily, as costs decrease this technology is becoming accessible to home and business owners, as well as public institutions. Come learn all about solar + batteries (a.k.a. ‘storage’) as we lead a discussion with regional experts, as well as homeowners who know the benefits first hand. Speakers include:

  • Jonna Papaefthimiou – Portland Bureau of Emergency Management
  • Adam Schultz – Oregon Department of Energy
  • Dan Bihn – Professional energy communicator and storyteller
  • Zach Snyder – Solar Oregon

Would you like to connect with the Solar Oregon community? Come early for a special member happy hour from 5-7 PM. Both events are free and open to the public.
