Earth Day 2022: Energy Storage Roundtable
What stands between us and a world powered entirely by sunshine and wind? The answer is batteries–also known as “energy storage.” Celebrate Earth Day 2022 with Solar Oregon and join us for a special webinar deep-dive about a technology that can not only keep the lights on in your home or business during an outage, but which is helping us make the best possible use of our solar energy. We’ll cover topics like:
- How does an energy storage system work, and what does it look like?
- How much can you actually power with a battery?
- How much does energy storage cost, and what types of incentives are available?
- What are the key trends to watch for in the next year?
We are joined by three special guest speakers, including:
Lucas Miller, Mayfield Renewables – As a firm believer that climate change is the most pressing issue facing his generation, Lucas dove into the renewables industry straight out of college by moving from Wisconsin to Portland to work for a regional solar and energy storage contractor in 2017. In that role, he managed all company marketing, community outreach, and project permitting. Currently, Lucas works at Mayfield Renewables where he consults on solar-plus-storage projects and go-to-market strategies for contractors, developers, and manufacturers.
Additional bios coming soon.
This event is free and open to everyone. RSVP for a link and call-in number to join the webinar.
