The Garage would like to welcome you and yours to join the members of Solar Oregon and the Portland Aquaponics Meetup group to a FREE, social, educational and productive day at the Garage.

The LaGunitas Maximus IPA has been generously supplied by LaGunitas Brewing shared by the Oregon Aquaculture Association. We will have gallons of lemonade, multiple food sharing tables for your crafty contributions and two BBQ’s fired up for a BYOGrillables opportunity.

No time and in a rush? Sheridans Fruit Company is across the street and has wonderful produce as well as on of the finest meat selections in the city!

In addition to plenty of solar chatter. There will be short presentations on the concept, benefits and investment opportunities related to these independent and sustainable food systems bringing freedom and integrity to small communities throughout the world.

We’re shooting for other demonstrations such as:

– onsite aquaponics grow bed build
– solar supported pump system demonstration
– solar cooking (if you have one, please let us know!)

If you’re not familiar with aquaponics and you’re a fan of resiliency, this gathering is for you!
