Tour The Steward Showcase Event

The Steward is the first certified Path to Net Zero property in Tigard, Oregon, offering fully electric living without the carbon operating footprint from fossil fuels. The Steward combines environmentally friendly living with purposeful design, where energy efficiency, sustainable practices, and sophisticated design coexist. Our rooftop photovoltaic solar system (103 kW) generates energy for The Steward to operate, which allows The Steward’s residents to live and work in the cleanest and safest environment. We are paving the way toward sustainability with our apartments in Tigard, OR. Come tour the building and see what the future could look like!
Tours of the building will be leaving from the lobby at 5:30 PM, 6:00 PM, and 6:30 PM. Following the tour you are welcome to enjoy light refreshments and connect with local environmental organizations Solar Oregon, Electrify Now, and Lake Oswego Sustainability Network in the community space on the 5th floor.
This event is free to attend but advanced registration is appreciated.
Workshops & Webinars
Solar Oregon provides a variety of solar workshops and webinars. In our monthly How to Go Solar + Storage webinar, we will answer your questions about how solar works, share information about incentives available, and help you take the first step to add solar to your home or business. Participants will come away with basic knowledge about solar energy systems and will be prepared to do more focused research on their own, or start working with a contractor right away.
Our solar and storage workshops are sponsored by the Energy Trust of Oregon. Energy Trust of Oregon provides cash incentives to install solar and contractor connections to experienced trade allies so that obtaining solar for your home or business. With solar and storage becoming more accessible, homes and businesses across the state are installing systems. We also host solar showcases to highlight these projects and give you a chance to see how your neighbors and fellow Oregonians are using solar power.
