5th Annual Solar Winery Tour

May 6th of 2017, Solar Oregon will be combining two of our member passions, solar and wine!

This daylong event, the 5th annual Solar Winery Tour, will include transportation, lunch and wine tasting at 4 of Oregon’s leading solar powered wineries with small group stops to 2 smaller wineries.

Smaller winery stops include Ruby Vineyards and Alloro Vineyard.

The price of the ticket includes your spot on the Solar Winery Tour bus!  The first pickup will be at Platt Electric in SE Portland (322 SE Taylor) at 8:30am and the second pickup will be at Tualatin Park & Ride (72nd Avenue and Bridgeport Road) at 9:00am. You are also welcome to meet us at Ponzi Vineyards (19500 SW Mountain Home Road, Sherwood OR 97140) around 9:30am.  Drop-off times will be around 4:30pm at the Tualatin Park & Ride and 4:45pm at Platt Electric in SE Portland.

Workshops & Webinars

Solar Oregon provides a variety of solar workshops and webinars. In our monthly How to Go Solar + Storage webinar, we will answer your questions about how solar works, share information about incentives available, and help you take the first step to add solar to your home or business. Participants will come away with basic knowledge about solar energy systems and will be prepared to do more focused research on their own, or start working with a contractor right away.

Our solar and storage workshops are sponsored by the Energy Trust of Oregon. Energy Trust of Oregon provides cash incentives to install solar and contractor connections to experienced trade allies so that obtaining solar for your home or business. With solar and storage becoming more accessible, homes and businesses across the state are installing systems. We also host solar showcases to highlight these projects and give you a chance to see how your neighbors and fellow Oregonians are using solar power.
