We’re proud to be Oregon’s only solar powered bicycle shop. We also have a solar powered ChargePoint station and a 100% electric Nissan Leaf as our Pinemobile shop car! Solar Drinks is an opportunity to introduce you to other community members who support and/or would like to learn more about renewable energy.

Come join us for a relaxed social networking event featuring Solar Power and Electric Vehicles.

Our rooftop solar array is an 18.4 kW roof mounted PV which was installed in 2015 by Sunlight Solar of Bend using 66 SolarWorld-280 black panels and two Fronius Primo inverters.

Pine Mountain Sports will be showing off our EV charging station – a 6.6 kW ChargePoint CT4021 Dual Charging, Level 2 Charging station with two J1772 plugs. Our station was installed in 2016 by Sunlight Solar Energy Inc. of Bend.

The 100% electric Nissan Leaf Pinemobile will be here and we’ll have Jason from Smolich Nissan here to help answer your questions about EV use.

This Solar Drinks event is sponsored by Elemental Energy and Sunlight Solar. Solar Drinks is put on by Solar Oregon, a non-profit advocacy organization bringing together people interested in renewable energy.
